I am not sure if Sports Illustrated still has it, but I remember there used to be a short blurb every week under the title, “This week’s sign that the apocalypse is upon us.” I thought of that section when I read this story about the poisoning of the oaks at Auburn’s beloved Toomer’s Corner. The man who did this is either a complete hater or out of his mind or a little bit of both. At the very least, little things like this make it O so obvious that sin is very real and also very stupid.
