Tim Tebow Memoir
ByMuch thanks to my buddy Kevin for sending me this article regarding the possibility of (and negative reaction from many towards) a Tim Tebow memoir. I believe LZ Granderson is right on. A quick look at some of the comments shows that not everyone agrees. However, what I find very interesting is that many who do not agree with him somehow seem to think that everyone is free to believe and say what they wish provided it has nothing to do with Christianity. Liberal or conservative, you have to see that such sentiments are straight up hypocrisy.
I continue to be a fan of Tebow’s. Each time I run across a story of him, I cannot help but pray that he remains true to the Lord, especially in the face of so much criticism.

Right here is what is surprising to me.

These are the most recent NFL Jersey sales. Tebow who is a back-up continues (since he was drafted) to be the top seller of jerseys. That is simply put unbelievable. He will not be a Pro-Bowl player this year and has scored 1 TD. So he is obviously not selling jerseys because of his ability or stats. The only thing that I can think is that people actually are buying Tim Tebow’s jersey because he is actually a good-guy, or a moral person, or as we would say, he is a Christian. That to me is awesome.

That is amazing isn’t it…No doubt there is a correlation between his play and his character. And maybe the faithfulness of Gator fans!
I tend to think countless people are really searching for someone they can easily cheer for in professional sports. There aren’t enough guys out there in that category, sadly.
