Latest on LeBron
ByLeBron’s latest commercial speaks volumes about him and our culture in general. How so? Jason Whitlock over at Fox Sports answers that question well. One of the primary things that keeps coming to mind in regards to LeBron is that I have not found any respectable person who thinks that he handled his free agency well, and yet, he can’t admit it. It really is sad.

I think he did everything but the tv special well. Everyone is hating on him, but I have no problem with his decision (this coming from a cavs fan) Did I want him to stay? Ofcourse. But I don’t blame him for leaving. He wants to win. Every athlete alive wants to win, so what is the big deal here? He went to the place most likely for him to win championships–and to top that, he is friends with the guys on the heat anyways. I kinda respect this commercial from Lebron too because he is admitting that he is doing what he wants to do, not what everyone else wants him to do. He isn’t selling out and saying “Sorry I went to the Heat, I miss Cleveland but I have to stick with my decision” He is saying, Hey, this is where I want to play, and this is where I am going to play. At this point, everyone is just harboring hatred at someone.

I like very much the article you linked at, and I totally agree with it. My opinion of LeBron is very low, and I think this commercial sends a wrong message to people.
